Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, each Safari Tent has two 100% cotton linen, ¾ comfortable beds and a soft finish on the interior, as well as a functional veranda with two deck chairs, which is the perfect spot to have yourmorning coffee while the sun rises and the bush awakens. 

Chewore Camp is open to allow the animals to roam freely and so having a herd of elephant wander through the tent area whist munching on the Acacia pods is a part of day to day life at Chewore.  At dusk you can hear the splashing water as the resident pod of hippo make their way to the lawns on the floodplain just in front of the tents.

There is a separate toilet and shower on each site along with a mini outdoor ‘kitchen’ area, equipped with all the essential kitchen utensils and a -40 degree deep freeze.  

A help hand is available by request to tend to your camp, light your fires, prepare your meals and help with your boats and fishing.
